There are two main threads: offensive film and defensive film thread. In each of those threads, there is a collection of the main offensive and defensive breakdowns.

And what this article is it’s more of an ICYMI with some added context, plus my quick thoughts on the game.

This one is a shorter one. I didn’t get to watch the game fully, as it was Christmas

Game Breakdown

The first half, well that was all Tyler Herro and Max Strus.

Herro was doing his usual stuff and that is what impressed me. It’s 30-ish games into the season and his numbers are still the same, his efficiency is still the same, and in general, his game has significantly improved.

And I’m also just as impressed with Strus. He has gone from a 2-way player to a reliable rotation player.

With all these injuries and COVID issues, the whole next man-up is working to perfection.

Another player that fits that:

He is honestly getting overlooked with the whole Duncan Robinson and Strus argument, and Herro’s MIP season.

With both Herro and Jimmy Butler out on many occasions, he has helped tremendously with him attacking the rim.

But the player that did put rim pressure and did that in the fourth quarter was Kyle Lowry:

The game was decided in the fourth quarter, though — and it was a roller-coaster of emotions.
