Miami Heat Weekly Round-up: Herro’s Playmaking, Getting Bam More Involved, 8/4/22
I love that Adebayo is getting more involved. He either gets a quality look — he’s shooting 61.5% post-all-star and 64.3% in the last 10 games — or he forces the defense to react and makes a decision on a short-roll.
Miami Heat Weekly Round-up: Changes to Starting Lineup, Rotations & Closing Lineup, 1/4/22
Per Cleaning the Glass, with Strus on the court, the Heat are plus 4.7 with a 114.5 Off Rtg and a 109.8 Def Rtg. With Robinson on the court, the Heat are plus 3.4 with a 112.1 Off Rtg and a 108.7 Def Rtg. There isn’t that big of a difference when it comes to their on-court numbers in general, but the numbers do differ significantly when it comes to the starting lineup.
Miami Heat Weekly Round-up: The Blowup, Herro Hunted, Lowry Stepping Up, 26/3/22
In the game against the 76ers, they run the same type of play for what seemed like the entire quarter — possession after possession after possession. Each play involved either Tyrese Maxey or Tobias Maxey taking turns on Tyler Herro.
What’s Miami Heat’s Clutch Offense, 23/3/22
The Heat have a 100.0 offensive rating in the clutch, which ranks 26th in the league. There have been countless games where they either lost the game completely or blew a lead because they couldn’t score themselves for several minutes.

In the whole grand scheme of things. No, this shouldn’t raise major concerns, especially about his scoring, his decline, his contract, or anything else in the future. The only concern is the fact that he’s not shooting well right now. And that could be because of injuries. It may be a coincidence, but his percentages have significantly gone down since his injury against the Golden State Warriors.
Miami Heat Weekly Round-up: Herro’s Performance, Lack of FTs, PJ’s Impact, 11/3/22
This week, in two games, Butler leads the team with 20 free throw attempts. The next highest is Adebayo with five. That’s slightly worrying that no one else hit double digits. This is where Victor Oladipo should help with. He is another guy that could provide some more rim pressure.
Should the Miami Heat Trade Duncan Robinson for Marcus Morris Sr, 7/2/22
What Morris has shown this season is capable of adapting to what the team needs and he does what is needed well. There are two roles on offense that he can effectively play: complement the stars by knocking down catch-and-shoot shots or go get a bucket in the mid-range. And both these roles would be key for the Heat.
